Dr. Ed Patenaude

Ed grew up on a dairy farm and graduated from dentistry at McGill University in 1973. He worked in London, Ontario for 1 1/2 years before opening his own practice in Tillsonburg. Ed has always been very committed to continuing education and received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in San Antonio, Texas in 1992. His philosophy has always been to develop long-term patient relationships by providing predictable, quality dentistry where risks and benefits are explained and options are given. In the past, he has been involved in Kinsmen, been on the board of his local church, served on the board for Community Living, Tillsonburg and has been past president of the Oxford County Dental Society as well as on special committees for the Ontario Dental Association.

Dr. Bob Shelton

Bob was born and raised in Oxford County in the town of Ingersoll. He completed his post secondary education at the University of Western Ontario. In 1974 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He then entered dental school at Western and graduated with a dental degree in 1978. Bob has practiced dentistry in southwestern Ontario since graduation and joined the team in 1987. Bob is currently a member of the Oxford County Dental Society and the Ontario Dental Association.

Dr. Craig Lauwerier

Craig grew up in Delhi, Ontario and studied biology at the University of Toronto. He then earned his teaching certificate at the University of Western Ontario before graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Craig advocates minimally invasive treatments in a comfortable and caring environment. Having spent many summers growing up at camp as a camper, counselor and director, he has a passion for working with children. As an accomplished ice skater, Craig can still be found at the local rink from time to time, coaching the next generation of talent. Craig is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in the U.S. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, alpine skiing, travelling and photography.


Matt graduated from the Denturism program at George Brown College in Toronto in 2008. Shortly after completing his diploma he moved back to his hometown of London to begin his career as a denturist and has been with Dr. Patenaude's office since 2011. In his free time he enjoys watching and playing many sports and grew up playing baseball, hockey, lacrosse and snowboarding.
